Export Additional File Format Support

Michael Wilson 7 years ago updated 6 years ago 0
It would be fantastic if we were able to export the individual elements of a composition rather than the scene. Also to have the options to export both the scene and individual objects as 3ds and obj file formats would be ideal for use in other programs and augmented reality programs.

Origami now supports export to OBJ, more formats are coming. http://boxshot.com/2014/05/27/origami-barcode-coffee.html
I really like your Origami product but find the export feature a lot lacking. I know your intent is for us to find Boxshot and use that but it is inadequate for finer rendering needs. Any real world (preferably not dead end like u3d) format like 3ds, dae, or obj would make it purchasable and indispensable.
FBX or Collada would be better
I was super excited about this. Downloaded it, tried it, and then the Lack of other files exports is what just made me uninstall it. .u3d is pretty much useless and needs more file extension support. .obj should be a given.

THANK YOU!. My exports to Collada then into Cinema 4D works fast and easy.
