Some of the files that we fold up are large so we have to stop using illustrator while original thinks.

Answer
When you click "reload" there are two things that happens one by one. First of all, Illustrator prepares the dieline and artwork and sends it to Illustrator. This may take a lot of time for heavy artwork and cannot be interrupted or done in background. Then comes the second part, when Origami folds the dieline and updates the artwork in preview. For heavy dielines it may also take a while, but you can use Illustrator at the same time. The above means that if you can't use Illustrator during the updates, it is because of Illustrator processing the data for Origami. And as it cannot be interrupted, unfortunately, we hardly can do anything about it. You can set a lower resolution for preview in Settings, maybe it will help.

Sorry about that.
