Is there a way to produce tapered sided boxes using the die-line generator? currently the list shows straight-sided templates.

Please provide some images or dielines of the shapes you need, so we can discuss this.

This is a common carton product I produce, with the taper sometimes also starting wider at the base and getting narrower towards the top.

Thanks. Are there any standards on this, like FEFCO for cardboards?

Usually we use carton board for these packages, carrying the FSC label. The thickness of the board is from 350gsm upwards to 500gsm, single-ply being not corrugated.

Does this help?

Sure it helps, but what would help more is some kind of standard for such shapes. I mean we could add a custom shape like that, but then it may appears that there is a more standard way of doing such packages and we'll have to re-make it.

Let's keep it here for now and see if it gets more support.

Essentially what I'm looking to achieve, is to have the die-cut creator make a tapered side with the correct crash-lock base. It would be great to have the dimensions editable for base, top and sides…

…Once that would be generated, I would then customise the top shape design.
