Disabling Zoom on Scroll

Wassermann 12 months ago updated by Vitaly Ovchinnikov 12 months ago 2

Is there a way to disable the zoom-on-scroll behavior (or preferably, to remap it to Command + Scroll a la embedded Google Maps? (see https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/embed/start for an example).

I embed Koru with a transparent background, and so it's not obvious that scrolling won't work within a region of the page. It's most problematic on mobile where the scene, and thus the unscrollable-zone spans the full width, and one has to position their mouse (or finger on touch screens) above or below to move past the object.

Is there a way to disable or adjust this functionality?

Much Appreciated

We're going to partially address this in the next update. Meanwhile you can put a transparent div on top of the Koru scene that will prevent Koru from stealing mouse wheel while you scroll. You can attach a click handler that removes the DIV once the user clicks the scene.

I personally see no good solution for that, as Command+Scroll for zoom is hardly a good idea, too.

There will be a tutorial about this soon.

Please have a look here https://boxshot.com/koru/tutorials/tips/non-interactive/ and let me know if it doesn't help.
