Is it possible to generate an QR Code for Bank transactions? (IBAN etc.)
It is planned for version 2.1
Meanwhile you can construct it manually using the standard text-based QR code, the format is pretty simple.
Thanks for your reply.
I'm sorry but i don't know the "format" because i have no idea how barcodes and qr-codes work technical.
Can you give me an hint how i have to handle/write it or give me an idea were i can find further information to learn it.
Thanks a lot for your support.
There is a good description here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EPC_QR_code#cite_note-1
Basically, you need to prepare 12 lines of text like this:
XXXYYYZZZ <- BIC
John Smith <- name
DE71110220330123456789 <- IBAN
EUR12.3 <- amount
GDDS <- reason (4 letters)
RF18539007547034 <- reference
aaabbbccc <- text
eefffggg <- information
The first four lines are fixed, then you place BIC, recipient name, account number, payment amount, 4-letters payment reason code and then you put three lines of payment reference and information, which you can leave blank. The link above has more details on the format, explains which fields are optional and provides length-related limits.
Make a test QR-code using the text above (just make sure to remove the comment arrows) and check if your payment app recognises it. If not - let me know, we'll sort it out.
